Proper Way to Do a Wet Shave

Even when they are using mens electric shavers, wet shaving is done by many men so that they will not experience those painful burns and unwanted skin infections. This shaving technique is more advisable compared to dry shaving. Read the rest of this story to know why and how to do it.

The difference between the wet shaving and dry shaving is that the former uses water to soften the skin and hair, making shaving smoother and less painful. The only downside with wet shaving is that it takes more time than the dry shaving technique, even if you use mens electric shaver, which are believed to be faster than conventional razors. But, that is nothing compared to the possibility of skin rashes and infections brought about by shaving without water.

To be able to perform a wet shave properly, you need to have the following beforehand: razor (just make sure it is not dull) shaving cream (or gel or oil), shaving brush, towel, bowl, aftershave balm, moisturizer, and exfoliant.

The first step is to exfoliate the skin as your preparation for the shaving ritual. Exfoliation will help remove the dead skin cells, making your skin smooth. After putting exfoliant rinse it with water, then pat the area to be shaved with damp cloth. Make sure that it is warm because introducing warm to the skin relaxes the pores and softens the hair. This will make the hair easier to shave off.

Next, pour the shaving cream into the bowl and stir the cream using the brush. Apply the shaving cream into your skin in a circular motion. Gel or oil is best for those who have goatees or lengthy side burns; since both gel and oil are clear, they will allow you to see where you can shave. Shaving cream is used to moisturize and lubricate both your skin and hair. This also avoids chafing due to the usage of a razor.

Then, begin shaving from the cheek moving towards the chin. When shaving, shave in a direction opposite to the grain or the opposite direction where the hair grows. Pull the skin in the direction opposite to the direction where the razor is going. Use only short and firm strokes. It is best to rinse the razor after every stroke.

The hair on the chin should be last since it is the hardest part to remove hair from. Also, the longer the hair is exposed to the cream the softer it gets. In order to make the skin between your upper lip and nose tout, curl the upper lip over the teeth. Shave the area in short strokes, downward direction. Then shave the area below the bottom lip.

Rinse with cold water the area that was shaved or was creamed and check if there are areas that were not shaved. If there are remaining areas, re-apply shaving cream and shave the area. Once finished, rinse again and pat dry your face so that the pores will be closed. Do not rub with towel because doing so will only irritate the skin. Finally, put on moisturizer to cool down the skin. It should not result in any redness, stinging sensation, or razor burns.

Wet shaving is the safest way of removing hair on your body. But, if not done properly--whether with conventional blades or mens electric shavers--you may end up having unwanted results like rashes. It is best to follow these general steps to have a painful free and safe wet shaving experience.

The Braun Series 7 790cc Provides the Most Unbelievable Shave

You must be searching to get a dry shaver since you are reading this. The market is full of dry shavers to use. So to find the right one you should be making sure it is gentle on the skin and comfortable to use. Braun from Gillette offers a number of different series of shavers. Each has its' specific features and benefits to fit the special needs of the men that get them. The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver is one of these and is part of the Pulsonic series. If you are thinking of the Braun 790cc shaver then by all means you want to make certain that it will be gentle and comfortable to use.

I'm sure you'll agree that it is a bit embarrassing going out in public after having a shaver that irritates your skin and leaves it red. As you know the hairs on your face don't just grow in one direction so there's nothing worse than having to shave the same spot multiple times to get at them. The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver from Gillette uses the noted blade technology to handle this issue. It is because of this technology that the Braun shaver is able to cut the hairs so close to the skin.

In fact the Gillette three blade technology is so unparalleled and so efficient that it is patented. The less strokes mean a gentler shave for the skin. The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver is able to shave closely in one stroke making it very gentle on the skin. The Braun 790cc employs an additional two features to make this possible. The shaver massages and pulsates the face at 10,000 vibrations a minute which lifts the hairs so they are easily shaved off. A second feature is the Power Comb. It catches the hairs no matter what direction they grow in. The shave from the Braun 790cc is smooth and rash free because of these features.

Not all men have non-sensitive skin. There is a small percentage that have tender skin. Even with the first-rate blade technology of the Braun Series 7 790cc shaver it may still chafe such unusually delicate skin. However the Braun researchers went to a great deal of trouble so in general most men would not have their skin irritated. The researchers have acknowledged that a small number of men are predisposed to have sensitive skin. To get a close and smooth shave the researchers at Braun recommend holding the Braun Series 7 790cc shaver at a 90 angle to the face.

My experience using the Braun 790cc shaver has shown it to be an impressive shaver. My skin has remained healthy while while using the Braun 790cc. Since I haven't had any skin problems and the Braun Series 7 790cc is so comfortable to use it has been an easy choice as my favorite shaver.

Epilator Reviews - Hair Today Gone Tomorrow

I recently published all my research on epilators for women, in summary I was buying an epilator for my sister and wanted to make the right purchase decision so I went through page after page of real consumer epilator reviews.

I can't tell you how my purchase was received yet because it is a present for Christmas but, and the reason for following up on my last publication, I was just about to throw away all of my notes, papers etc that I had scribbled my research on when I realised there was some really good information for other people wanting to buy epilators that: a) I didn't include on my first review b) I know you will find very useful for making your purchase decision c) Includes real consumer tips, tricks and generally great advice

So to continue... Independent dermatological research measured the effects among women of dry epilation compared to wet epilation, findings showed that the women significantly favoured wet epilation.

Wet Epilation is Kinder to your Skin - Nearly two thirds (63%) also found that wet epilation was kinder to the skin, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin or those new to epilating. Braun in particular use this fact in their marketing as they consider it to provide their gentlest ever epilation! For example look at the Braun Silk-épil Xpressive 7781 Wet & Dry Rechargeable Body & Face Epilator. So what is it about epilating in water that makes it so gentle and subsequently a more relaxing experience? Well, it's known that a good soak in a bath can wash away more than just your physical aches and pains; it relaxes you mentally and physically and the warm water helps relax your skin so hairs are removed as gently as possible. Used in conjunction with massaging rollers the whole experience is quite bearable rather than being unbearable.

First Time Epilation - If you've never an epilator before they will take some getting used to, from my research this also depends on your own levels of sensitivity and pain tolerance. An advisable first time method is to shave first and then let it grow a little 2-3 days before trying epilation. That way it doesn't feel as uncomfortable although may prickle but not painfully. Apparently you have to be a fan of epilating and appreciate that it takes more effort than a quick swipe of the razor in the bath. That being established, and you are willing to suck up a little initial pain it does get easier on repeated use - I am told.

After the first few times when it ceases to hurt at all, it's worth following the manufacturer's advice of having a bath/shower beforehand as this seems to relax the skin/hair follicles. Additionally the hairs grow weaker, and the time between epilating sessions gets longer. A number of epilators come with a separate head which removes some of the 1st time anxiety and perceived pain, although epilating may take longer this could be a good way to start though if you find it too uncomfortable. The next time you epilate it should be a lot more comfortable. For the best epilation results ensure that the skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease. Place the epilation head in a right angle onto the skin and move the epilator slowly against the direction of hair growth.

Epilators that have an extra-wide head such as the Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Body And Face Rechargeable Epilator also help reduce the perceived pain, this actually sounds like that'd mean it'd hurt more but as it's faster than most other epilators, as well have having attachments to help lift hairs away from the skin and to massage your skin, it is more or less pain-free.

Optimal Epilation - an epilator will catch even the shortest hairs of 0.5 mm, to allow optimal epilation the hairs should not be too long (not longer than 1.5 cm). The optimal hair length for epilation is 3 - 4 mm. In Growing Hairs - a decent exfoliating sponge will probably do the job and some products even come free with certain epilators.

When to use an Epilator - this piece of advice applies to people who suffer from irritation and / or blotchiness. When you use your epilator make sure you do it on a day when you don't want to bear your legs, the irritation (in the hundreds of Epilator Reviews I researched) disappeared totally after a nights sleep and the more use the less blotchiness.

Last advice - this is entirely up to you but I read a statement along the following lines a number of times "when it comes to epilators, forget all marketing gimmicks, the important thing is the quality and speed of the motor. The faster the motor, the quicker and less painful the process." This is all the advice I can pass on from my epilator reviews research, I hope I have helped at least one person with your purchase decision.

Shaving is something that most men do in the morning. To have a clean shaven look, men need a shaver that can help to shave safer, faster, and quicker. Shaving will not only make men clean and fresh, but it will also help men to be women's center of attention because most women prefer men with clean facial area. For the best shaving result, men need the best electric shaver device.

There are so many types and brands of electric shavers on the market, and each of them has their own use and benefits. As a result, you can get really confused and have difficulties to select the best one for you. The following are some tips that can help you to choose the right shaver for you to use everyday.

Unlike manual shavers that can cause skin irritations and other skin problems, most shavers can clean your beard and mustache without the risk of burns and cuts. You can find such shavers from many popular brands in the market. The brands are Phillips, Braun, Remington, Panasonic, and many more.

To narrow down your electric shaver selection, you should remember that cordless shavers are better, because they are more comfortable to use and provide smoother shave. You can leave a cordless shaver and recharged when it is not being used so that the shaver will be ready for your next shave.

One of the reasons men choose electric shaver is because they are easy to use and clean. However, you have to remember that one type of device might not be the perfect thing for every man. You need to spend a little time to do some research. You can find information about electric shaver on the Internet by reading customer reviews and feedback that can really help you to decide.

When you have found the best electric shaver, the next step is to purchase it. It is better for you to purchase it online so that you don't have to waste your time to go to the local supermarket. Shopping online can really help you to buy the things that you need without even leaving your home. At Home Hair Removal: Techniques To Use, Part One

You can successfully remove unwanted hair from your body from home. If you have thought about products that are overly expensive, laser treatments as well as unsightly treatments, then you may not need to. There are many at home remedies that actually can help you.

Tips For Shaving

For Men: One of the best places to shave is the shower. The goal is to soften the skin which will help the hair to stand up enough for you to get a close shave. You can also take full advantage of the many products available including gels and creams. To help, make sure that you use a good quality razor and that you keep it clean and dry between uses. This will help you to keep cuts to a minimum. Afterwards, rinse with cold water and if you like use an after shave.

For The Ladies: Just like the men, there are many things that you can do to improve the quality of your shave. For example, if you hold the razor at the right angle you will get a closer shave. Softening the skin with warm water, lotions or shaving gels can also help. If you would like to cut the costs, use conditioner instead of these creams. It can do the same job for much less of the cost. You can shave any area of the body, with most women shaving their legs and underarms about twice per week or more depending on the need.

Tweezing: Another Option

Using clean tweezers, you can easily pluck away stray hairs or shape the eyebrow. You should not use them on nose hairs, though as it can cause an infection. To do so, pull the hair in the same direction as it grows. You have no need for creams as these can block pores. In most cases, you can go about two weeks between tweezing sessions.

Depilatories: Another Option

Here, you'll want to make sure that you take the time to follow the directions provided on the containers of depilatories. You need to insure you are not allergic and you need to insure that you pay close attention to the time frame. If you leave these products on too long or use them when you should not, you are likely to suffer from a rash or burn. You can use these about every other month to your desired results. You'll want to try to use them after you have taken a shower or bath so that the hair is soft and easily removed.

These options for at home hair removal are options that you can easily do and benefit from. Take the time to learn a little bit more about them, purchase the products needed and get rid of unwanted hair.

Braun Shaver 8995: The Perfect Shave For Your Once-In-A-Lifetime Moments

Do you need to find the perfect shaver for your wedding, your first speech, or perhaps your first business presentation? Well, look no further because I already found the perfect one - the Braun Shaver 8995. In this article, allow me to tackle why I personally recommend it. Let me start with giving you the 2 systems that Braun Shaver is offering: The 3-Stage Cutting System and the Clean and Renew System.

The 3-Stage Cutting System is amazing. Using the 360-degree technology cutting head is quick and easy. In fact, my neck hairs were shaved neatly without much effort. It did not make my skin red and irritated. There were no negative reactions after. The shaving process was also fast; in fact it only takes less than 3 minutes to finish.

The Clean and Renew System, on the other hand is exemplary. This automatic cleaning system is very quiet, not to mention that the cleaning solution leaves a pleasant citrus scent on the blades. Being a bit particular on cleanliness, the fact that this shaver is self-cleaning makes me feel happy. It is important that you clean your shave as frequent as you can to retain its good quality. This is what most of us miss to do.

Inside the box of this product are the razor, a plastic travel case and the equipment you will need to clean the razor. It comes with a manual filled with easy directions. The contents may seem like a regular shaver but performance wise, it's definitely worth the price. In fact, my boss noticed my new look during the first day I used this shave. Indeed it has increased my confidence while presenting my slides. Although in some occasions growing my beard may boost my ego, there are also these rare times when a smooth guy face becomes a plus factor. I'm so glad I made the switch earlier. Braun has really met my standards for a good shaver that can stand my fast-growing thick beard.

Make Your Own Preshave

Using a preshaving solution with your men's electric shavers can help you achieve very positive results. But, since preshaving products are often quite expensive, is there an option for you? You actually can make your own preshave lotion.

Making your own preshave can be a nature-friendly endeavor and a budget-friendly effort. The do-it-yourself preshave is also one that you can use with either mens electric shavers or conventional razor blades. This is better than buying expensive commercialized preshaving products.

Here's some good news, especially to those who have very sensitive skin. You can actually use oils, which are very natural and healthy for your skin. The recipe and procedure for making an oil-based preshave solution right in your own home are very easy to follow.

As if that is not enough, the materials and ingredients are also easy to acquire: castor oil, olive oil, any essential oil of your preference (for fragrance), and a dark non-transparent container with a lid. You can practically buy these from any gift shop in your area.

First, you need to find an empty bottle or used jar. It is not necessary to buy one; this way, you can save money. This will serve as the container to store your preshaving oil. The empty jar or bottle should be dark and not clear and transparent.

Fill up to a third of the bottle with olive oil. Then, pour the castor oil until it almost fills the bottle. Just make sure you leave enough space to provide for 4 to 7 drops of essential oil. You can purchase any essential oil of your choice. The essential oil will be used for fragrance or scent. Lavender essential oil would also be a better choice as ingredient. If you don't want your preshave to have any scent, don't add in any essential fragrance.

Seal tightly the lid of the container and shake the container well. That should mix the castor and olive oils together. And, voila! You're done!

This preshave is not only easy to make but is also affordable. You don't have to spend so much money on the ingredients. Another good thing with making your own preshave oil is that you can use it as a gift for friends and relatives, which can be another money-saving idea. The materials are very safe for the skin, very helpful to the environment because they are organic, and best of all, they work well whether you use traditional razors or mens electric shavers.

A Short History on Shavers Or Razors

Women and men have shaved their hair for thousands of years. Scientists believe that the first shavers or razors were made in 30,000 B.C and were made from flint and that shaving was part of some kind of ritual, body modification and body art. For many primitive tribes, it was considered a form of status symbol and wealth. In 3000BC, there were advancements in metallurgy in countries like Egypt, India and Greece. Because of these advancements, they were able to make permanent and reusable razors. The straight edged razor was not invented until the late 1700's by Benjamin Huntsman. It is a razor that can fold into its own handle like a jack knife but without the spring. This kind of shaver is still used today in most barber shops around the world because it is said that it can give the closest shave compared to other razors. However, very few people use it for personal use because of safety reasons. In the 1800's, the first safety razor was invented. It was a stick shaver that had a blade that can be fitted into a razor guard.

In 1895, King Camp Gillette an idea flashed through his mind about a razor that is safe, inexpensive and had a disposable blade. With the help of William Nickerson, he was able to realize his invention in 1904 and started selling them as the Gillette Safety Razor. During the First World War, Gillette struck a deal with the government to equip soldiers with razors and blades which totaled 3.5 million razors and 32 million blades.

Col. Jacob Schick invented and patented the first electric razor in 1928 and was further developed by a bigger company. Prof. Alexander Horowitz, another important inventor from Philips Laboratories based in the Netherlands, invented the revolving electric razor. The razor that he invented had a shaving head of cutters that cut off hair at the skin level. This new type of razor did not caught until it was feature in a movie in the late 30's.

During the 1950's many companies started selling cheap wholly disposable razors. In the 1970's, razors with disposable cartridges came out. They have twin blades that can cut closer to the skin. Then the three-bladed cartridges came out and just recently, the four bladed cartridges.

In the early years of the electric shaver, it had to be plugged into an electric outlet and can only be used as a dry shaver. Today, most electric shavers are cordless because they have built in rechargeable batteries. Some can be used with shaving creams and even some can be used while taking a shower.

Diode Laser Hair Removal for Dark Skinned People

Of the many laser removal options available today, diode laser removal is currently the most popular option. It effectively removes unwanted hair on any part of the body that has smooth skin. However it is more effective in darker skin.

The diode laser that is used in diode removal is a machine made of tiny diodes or semiconductors. These diodes are assembled together to produce light that helps with removal.

Advantages

The advantage of using diode removal to remove excess hair is that it uses a longer wavelength than the Alexandrite and Ruby lasers. This is what gives the laser better removal results in dark-skinned people when compared to the other two lasers used for removal.

It gives safer and deeper skin layer penetration and ensures faster recovery of large areas of the body. In addition to this, it is possible to remove excess hair from large areas like your back and legs in a single treatment. This is thus a great removal for men who want to get rid of all that ugly hair on their chest and back.

However at times, the diode does not give desired results to dark skinned people. It is to people with dark and coarse hair that diode removal is a boon.

Side effects

There are minimal side effects associated with diode removal like some scars, redness, swelling, burns and skin discoloration. Some patients also experience a condition called urticaria which is a skin rash in the form of dark and raised itchy bumps. All this usually happens only if the doctor performing the procedure is not a qualified one.

Diode removal is however not effective for people with white or light. Moreover, its long lasting effects differ in different people. It is thus better to first hold a consultation with your doctor to find out if diode removal will be effective in removing all your unwanted, or if you should consider some other removal option.

Review of the Panasonic Wet-Dry Mens Electric Shaver (ES8243A)

Whew! The Panasonic ES8243A Arc IV Nano Men's Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaver sure is a long name for a model of mens electric shavers. But, despite its long name, it is not just your ordinary shaver. It has great abilities, and quite a handful. Majority of users have good things to say about this tool.

First, you will initially notice its sleek design. It looks like something that is durable and masculine. You would want it to be your shaving buddy. Only very few mens electric shavers enjoy such a reputation.

When you start using the Panasonic ES8243A, you will also notice its nice hand fit and its rubberized grip. It makes your hands at ease and comfortable when holding it. Other physical features include an LCD screen on the lower part of the handle. The battery status is shown there, so you would know right away when it needs to be charged already. A reminder to clean the blades also flashes there. Now that's convenient and very user friendly, especially when you have a busy schedule and you have got more to worry about than just charging your shaver.

If you go over the name and try to find some other cool features from it, you will discover that Arc IV actually is a reference to the head of the shaver. It is quite huge that it hugs your face. The head is also pivotal, allowing you to shave in circles, just like rotary shaving. You would not find it hard to shave especially in the neck area. The wide head allows pressure to spread out; thus, irritation due to pressure is lessened.

This model of a Panasonic razor can be used for both wet and dry shaving. It is as flexible as you want it to be. Whether you feel like shaving right after you wake up or in the shower, this will be handy. Its rechargeable feature would cost you 5 minutes. An average of 14 days is the battery life per charge. You can use it for an average of 6 to 7 shaves. Some users don't find this battery span very reliable especially for those who travel often.

How about the speed? It uses the Panasonic motor of the linear type, which gives you a 13,000 rpm shaver. Along with its quadruple blade and foil combination, it can give you a smoother and closer shave more efficiently. It can shave off even the thickest of beards. As for cleaning, it is an easy-clean model. You can fully submerge it in water or apply running water to the blades while turning on the sonic vibrations to shake off the hair.

The Panasonic ES8243A may be on the higher bracket of the price range, but most of its users have found that it is also one of the cost-effective mens electric shavers that you can find.

A Christmas of Good Intentions

If the Christ child had been born in a mall instead of a manger, we would not be celebrating Christmas today. The Three Wise Men would have never found a place to park. Then again, everyone knows you won't find a wise man in a mall parking lot a week before Christmas. That trip into holiday hell is left to lesser-thinking men. Men like me.

You see, I've always been one of those "wait till Christmas Eve, then grab the first thing you see and hope they like it" kind of shopper. A last-minute-man, that's what I am. But this year was going to be different. This year I was going to shop... dare I say it... early.

I was very proud of myself at first, going shopping an entire week and a half before actually having to produce the gifts. To be totally honest, it was my wife who insisted that I venture out early this year. Never a big fan of what she calls my "desperation method of shopping," she put her foot down last year after I presented her with a "Braun Nose Hair Trimmer 2000" and a lovely set of "Elvis Presley's Love Me Tender" sheets and pillow cases. I still don't understand what she was so upset about. That nose hair trimmer does a fine job of shaving the fuzz off her sweaters and every woman wants to sleep with The King... at least that's what the label said.

Independent surveys have shown that as a last minute shopper, I am not alone. One study conducted by the South Hampton Institute of Technology's Hammond-Egger Anthropological Department concluded that:

"...the tendency to put off gift shopping until the last possible minute is exhibited primarily by the male of the species. Individual case studies, as well as a number of autopsies performed on men who were run down in mall parking lots on Christmas Eve, suggest that this penchant for postponing purchasing is caused by the same hormone that makes men hesitant to dance in public, hug their mother-in-law and admit that they thought "Terms of Endearment" was a pretty decent film. Scientifically speaking, it's a guy thing."

So there I was last Saturday afternoon, almost two weeks before the big day, cruising the mall parking lot with a thousand other idiots out to prove their wives wrong. Bumper to bumper we crept, inching up one row and down another, as if any of us actually had a prayer of finding a space that didn't require taking a cab back to the mall. They say the suicide rate rises around the holidays. I'll bet if they looked into it they would find that most of these poor souls decided to chuck it all after spending a frustrating day driving round and round the mall. It's enough to drive anyone over the edge.

For a while, I did what everyone else was doing: following pedestrians who were walking through the parking lot in hopes that they were about to vacate a space. This proved to be a fruitless plan because none of these people ever seemed to find their car. I finally figured out why: they were the "I know I parked my car around here somewhere, but danged if I know where" people. These poor saps were even worse off than those of us who couldn't find a place to park. At least we were inside our nice, warm cars. They were wandering around in the cold like extras from "The Night of the Living Dead."

Being the quick-thinking, early shopper that I am, I offered to drive one of these zombies around until we found his car if he would give me his space. It proved to be a brilliant plan. Ten minutes later I was parked and walking through the lot toward the mall, a line of cars following close behind.

I have to admit, at this point I was feeling pretty cocky about the whole situation. I had managed to nab a parking space in the same county as the mall, had managed to make it inside the mall without being mugged or run down or assaulted by one of those overzealous bell ringers, and I was going to get my shopping done a full week and a half early.

I was overcome with the spirit of Christmas. Nothing was going to ruin my mood. Nothing.

Then, I stepped into the mall and everything changed.

But that's another story!

Electric Shaver Ratings and Reviews - Features Or Price?

Choosing an electric shaver can be a daunting task. There are so many electric shaver reviews and so many different choices out there. There's not one electric shaver that is clearly better than all the others because there are so many things to take into consideration. Some things that people focus the most on are price and features. If we were to first look at features, it's worth reviewing some of the top shavers from Braun, Panasonic, and Philips Norelco.

If you want a complete shaving system, each of these shavers is worth purchasing. Panasonic specializes in providing wet and dry shavers. This is ideal for people who want to shave in the shower. This particular model has a very powerful motor and is great for shaving thick beards. The blades are very sharp which helps produce a very close shave.

The Pulsonic Series 7 Shaver from Braun has been labeled by many as the best electric shaver. It is very high tech and has received excellent reviews. It creates micro-vibrations along with blade technology that helps lift hairs off your face and cuts them without tugging or pulling. With one click of a switch you can clean your shaver and have it ready for next time.

Finally, the Norelco Arcitec is one of the most high tech shavers available. It looks awesome, and most importantly it gives a good close shave. Norelco specialize in rotary shavers so if you have a preference for rotary shavers this is one of the most high tech ones. Rotary shavers are known for being able to hug your jaw line. If price isn't a factor, one of these shavers is highly recommended.

OK, now let's look at price. If you have a limited budget for an electric razor, than the three shavers mentioned above might be too expensive for you. They clearly win in the features department, but if price is a big factor, they might not be the best shaver for you. If we want to tackle value for money, we'll review the shaver that has received excellent reviews and is the least expensive. It becomes obvious now that there's no right or wrong way to pick the best electric shaver. Everyone's preferences will come into play.

One razor that has received so many good reviews is the PocketGo P 70 from Braun. It cost around 20 dollars and runs off two double A batteries. It doesn't have a cleaning system or special features, but according to many reviews it does its job very well. It makes a great gift, and perfect traveling shaver. You can use it anywhere; in the car, at work, or at home. This is also recommended for people who have never used an electric shaver before. This product can help you make the transition from disposable razors to electric razors.

Face the Facts - The Braun 790 CC Electric Razor and Your Skin

The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver utilizes the company's proprietary "Pulsonic Technology." If you're in the market for a dry shaver, you want to be sure it's the most comfortable it can be... especially if you've used other electrics that pull and tug on your skin. Yes, this new Braun Series 7 790cc shaver is the latest in high-tech shaving. But the important question is this: will it be comfortable to use?

Do you leave home looking like you've just gone a few rounds with the heavyweight champ? With a red, raw face that's been totally irritated by your old electric shaver? The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver makes shaving close and comfortable by using Gillette blade technology. Gillette's super-sharp blades mean a much closer cut, but still with a high level of comfort on your skin.

Only Braun has Gillette's special blade technology - so efficient, it's been patented. Your skin will love the new Braun 790cc shaver and here's another reason why: Those super-sharp blades need fewer passes to give you a close shave. Fewer passes means more comfort. That means less tugging, less pulling on your skin. Sensitive skin or now, you're going to feel the difference.

Of course, there are some guys out there with extra-sensitive skin. Electric shavers of any kind - including the Braun Series 7 790cc shaver - may irritate or redden very sensitive skin. Still, it's important to note that Braun engineers have really done their homework... and have tried to be sure this new model shaver can work for as many men as possible. Research has shown that for some with highly sensitive skin may not be able to use any type of electric shaver. Braun suggests as you begin to use your new Series 7 790cc shaver, hold it at a 90 degree angle to get the smoothest possible shave.

It may take a bit of time for your face to get "in the groove" with an electric shaver... but my face (and I) love my Braun. My skin is rash-free and comfortable. The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver leaves your skin smooth and comfortable, and offers a great shave.

Not only that, the model also uses a unique lifting and cutting technology. There is a dual blade system that lifts the hair so that it can cut through very comfortably below skin level. The blades used by the model are stainless blades which offer comfortable and close shaves.

Overall, the Philips Norelco 7810 is a very convenient and efficient product that stands out from among the rest of mens electric shavers with similar characteristics.

Tracking Down the Best Electric Shaver

Do not run out and buy either the most expensive or the cheapest electric shaver you can find! If you are anything like me, you are going to make a decision that will probably involve getting the most effective product for the cheapest price. I need to have things done quickly, and I want to shave quickly so I can get out of the door to work. Upon thinking the process out, however, you might make a better decision based on your specific needs. Often, as I will explain later, going cheaper is the best decision.

Picking an electric shaver is a decision that needs to be made based off of two factors. Firstly, what type of facial skin do you have? Some of us have used razors our entire lives. That is definitely going to leave your skin a lot more tender that the grand majority of people. Personally, I do not enjoy getting the electric shavers that put out a little gel as you shave. Sure, it might feel nice as you go, but at the same time it may be more likely to wear down the shaver more quickly. I like value things that last and cost me less money in the end. Secondly, what do you want your facial hair to look like? Getting a beard trimmer is always a good option for those who can stand the constant itch that comes with having facial hair. If you just have a simple mustache or a short goatee you may use the back end of an electric shaver as most come with a trimming tool on the back now.

All electric shavers are going to do the job quickly. That is one reason why going with a cheaper option may be better for you. Another reason is that all electric shavers need to have their heads replaced! In case you have not noticed after using your electric shaver for a few months, the blades grow dull. Usually you will find that buying a more expensive shaver also entails buying more expensive replacement heads. Do the research. Find out what is out there on the market that will help you save money, and still get a great shave!

Tips to Safely Do a Dry Shave

When you use mens electric shavers, you can choose between the two major techniques in shaving: wet shaving and dry shaving. Both techniques can be used with conventional razors, too, but using electric razors has its advantages. In this article, read some tips on how to dry shave safely.

Wet shaving is the most common method that men use to shave smoothly and cause no burns or nicks. It is something that you can perform with mens electric shavers, as well as traditional blades. Wet shaving is a technique that rinses the area first before removing the hair through shaving, while dry shaving does not require water and can be done quickly. As you can see, the very difference between wet and dry shaving is the use of water or some other liquid as lubricating substance.

Dry shaving, particularly when using non-electric razors, can be painful to some men and may cause burns. There are actually ways to dry shave without any pain and burns. Shaving dry can actually cause skin infections. If you don't have any water to start with your shaving, you can use a shampoo, conditioner or olive oil. Any amount of shampoo or conditioner will do, the more you put, the better!

It is best to dry shave properly to lessen the possibility of infections and burn. In shaving your skin without putting anything, it is best to use a razor. Usually, the shaving direction should always be done in opposite of direction where in the hair grows. Unlike this one, doing so may cause irritation to the skin. If your have a sensitive skin and most of the time have rashes and ingrown hairs then it is best to shave along with the direction of the grain.

If your skin is loose, it is advisable to pull the skin to make the surface of your skin flat and firm. So that every time the razor passes across the area of shaving, there won't be any difficulty in doing so and the possibility of burns and rashes is minimal.

Adding pressure when shaving will only result to cutting the skin around the follicle and in a slightly lower spot. If a pressure is necessary to be applied then mostly like the razor is not sharp enough. Usually a cleanly cut hair at the base layer of the skin is a result of a sharp razor that did not use any pressure during shaving.

After shaving, pat the shaved are and moisturize the skin. It is a no-no to rub the skin it will only irritate the skin. After shaving it is best to moisturize your skin. You can use lotion for moisturizing.

Though a there is dry shaving is frequently and probably the fastest way to go, still it is not recommended. There may be safe ways to do it but still burns will happen though may not be as painful if done with precaution.

How to Choose the Best Shaver

For some men, shaving is a part of their daily routine. This is usually done in the morning when getting ready for work. Problems then that may occur when you are shaving would affect your whole day, making you feel grim and in a bad mood. To avoid this problem, there is one key to that, which is choosing the right shaver.

The first thing that you should consider when choosing a shaver is the quality that you get from that certain product. Select a brand that is trusted, and is recommended by most of your friends and family members. Listen to those who do shaving everyday and they will give you reliable information. Keep in mind that you will be using your shaver daily, so you have to choose one that will last for a long time, while providing you the best quality.

When choosing a product that will make shaving a lot more fun, choose one that is easy to use. There are electric shavers that are available, and some are rechargeable that will be more convenient. Instead of opening a new pack everyday, you can just charge the shaver, and you are now on your way to an enjoyable shaving routine. This will also be more cost effective since you do not need to buy a new shaver every now and then.

Although the price is very important, this is actually the last factor that you should consider when buying a shaver. There are a lot of shavers that are available in the market, and some come in really cheap prices. However, do not be swayed. Check first on the quality of that product, and make sure that it will last. If there are shavers that offer the best quality but are a bit more expensive, then it is better to choose these ones. This way, shaving will not be a grueling task for you.

Get Rid of That Razor! Upgrade Your Shaving Experience With a Cordless Shaver

Like bathing, hair removal is a necessity. It doesn't have to be a chore! And, it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg also. If the average person spends $5 for a package of disposable razors a week for a year, that's $260 spent on an unpleasant and potentially painful experience. You wouldn't continue to pay money for bad products, so why would you continue to buy cheap razors that dull quickly and never get completely cleaned? There are two types of electric shavers: foil and rotary.

Generally, foil shavers offer a closer shave and rotary cutters are better for longer hair and difficult areas. According to Consumer Research, experts recommend that when choosing an electric shaver you should:

1. Overlook inexpensive generic models and buy a quality brand. If price is an issue, buy the best quality brand with the fewest bells and whistles.

2. Provide yourself with an adequate trial period. Most people need at least 30 days to adjust to an electric shaver. Most brand names will also provide you with a 30-day manufacturer's guarantee.

3. Look for a quick charge option and a long charge life. If your shaver quits before you are done, you are not going to want to wait an hour to finish shaving.

4. Determine if it is uncomfortable or too loud for your personal taste. And, if you are going to spend the money, you should be happy with the product. So save the toilet paper for its intended use, not for the bloody cuts from your disposable razor! Consider adding a cordless electric shaver to your morning routine and you will look forward to shaving once again.

Braun 790cc Price - Review of Why it is a Great Deal

The Braun 790cc price is a great deal when you look at the benefits and features that you get. Not only will be getting a product that is made by the world renowned Braun company. Braun is known for their high quality products. The Braun 790cc is no exception to this and provides a close, comfortable shave, is easy to use and is completely rechargeable.

Here's a short list of the benefits you will get with the Braun 790cc:

1. Comfortable to use

2. Shaves closely and smoothly

3. Doesn't pull hair

4. No irritation (no red face!)

5. Easier to use since cartridges are changed once a month (not once a week like a razor)

The Braun 790cc has been built using the latest technology. This technology is one of a kind and is patented. One of the features that allow for the incredibly close shave is the pulsating shaving head. The head of the shaver micro-vibrates at 10,000 times a minute. The vibrations make the hairs on your face stand up as the shaver nears them so they can be shaved off easily. Without a doubt you'll find this to be one of the closest shaves you'll ever get.

Many men have had issues when using a manual shaver. You know what I'm talking about. The nicks, cuts and abrasions a manual shaver delivers. The Braun Series 7 790cc shaver doesn't create any of these and essentially glides over your skin. The foil head and Power-Comb of the shaver is what allows for this. The foil head is extremely sensitive and adjusts to the smallest changes to the contours of your face. The Power-Comb adds to this by catching all the hairs on your face no matter what direction they grow in.

The Braun 790cc price also gives you the feature of a three stage blade system. The three stages start by getting the shortest hairs first and then shave off the longer hairs effortlessly. This guarantees that you won't have your hairs pulled out instead of cut off.

If you are serious about getting a new shaver then you need to look at the Braun Series 7 790cc shaver. It is impressively designed and provides a clean, smooth shave that is unsurpassed by other electric shavers. Also being built by Braun it is made to last. You will be using this shaver for years to come.

Take a look at the Braun 790cc price and I'm sure you'll find that it is a great deal for all of the features and benefits you will get. Do yourself a favor and don't pass it up.

How to Clean an Electric Shaver

Shavers have been one of humanity's--especially men's--best friend. People, often men, use shavers to make themselves look good and clean and to appear presentable. Shavers have been here since the Bronze Age when metals became common material for instruments and tools. A shaver essentially consists of blades that are used to cut and remove unwanted hair from several parts of the body, commonly the beard of men. Variety of this tool include the disposable plastic-bodied ones, the metal ones, the battery operated razors and mens electric shavers. For women, this is used to remove pubic hair especially in the bikini line.

Because people nowadays always seem to be in a hurry, the widely used kind is mens electric shavers. Compared to the disposable ones, these shavers last longer and end up being less costly in the long run. Compared to metal shavers, an electric razor is definitely faster and the results are cleaner. You also do not have to constantly replace the head. Electric razors also provide less probability of unwanted cuts. Although it needs care when used because it uses electricity, it is still preferred by most people.

If you are using an electric shaver to keep yourself clean, it is a must to keep it hairless and sanitary during and after every use. Since the head is not replaced regularly, you can clean it yourself so that the next time you use it, it can still cut through your hair nice and smoothly. If you do not clean it often, hair strands, dried soap particles, and other small objects may get stuck in it. It will be harder to clean the next time around. In this case, your electric shaver will be less efficient than it ought to be. So, you might as well purchase another one. Taking care of and cleaning your electric shaver well will spare you from the additional cost and unhygienic hairy looks.

First thing to do is to make sure that you unplug the electric shaver. You do not want to get anyone electrocuted right? Then carefully detach the head. Check the gaskets. It is located under the cutter head. Check for cracks where hair strands and dirt can accumulate. If it has cracks and unwanted objects have piled up in it, you must now replace it with a new one.

The very important part of the cleaning process is removing the hair and other objects in the cutter block or the main part of the electric shaver which is used to shave hair off. You can use a brush for this. Some electric shavers come with brushes made especially for this purpose.

There are some particles that cannot be removed by the brushing. So you need to soak the head in a soap solution. There are also other special solutions for this purpose. Rinse the head with the solution and make sure to shake off the unwanted particles.

To assure that the blades will not get rusty, apply a contact solution and wipe each blade using a piece of paper. Double check for remaining unwanted particles. Repeat the procedure until all particles are removed.

For finishing touches, spray the foil gently with a head lubricant to minimize friction and damage. The last step would be returning the head back to its rightful position.

Cleaning mens electric shavers is easy to do, but it must be done regularly so that your shaver's performance will not degrade drastically.

Which Among Men's Electric Shavers Match You?

Electric shavers are a man's best friend. Early mornings will never be the same without them. But getting the best one to suit your shaving needs may need a little bit more attention than you think it does. Shavers have different shapes, sizes and even features. It can be a little overwhelming to sort through all the different types on the market. In order to pick the right one for you, there are a few things you should consider before buying an electric shaver.

• Your type of facial hair. You should consider the type of hair on your face before buying just any shaver. There are two types of electric razors; a foil and a rotary type. The foil type of shaver has one to a couple of heads that are composed of blades that oscillate behind a perforated screen. This type is more effective for short hair growths and for softer or thinner hair. The rotary electric shaver design is made up of three to four heads that is composed of cutter that spin behind a screen. This type can trim course and thick facial hair with ease.

• Your type of skin. The foil type of electric shaver is better with sensitive skin than the rotary type. The foil type also provides a closer shave than the rotary. To pick which shaver shaves the closest, look at the razor foils. The thinner the razor foil is, the closer your electric razor will shave.

• The power supply. Men's electric shavers may either be powered by disposable batteries, rechargeable batteries or by alternating current from your normal power outlet. If your bathroom mirror is nowhere near a power outlet then you may want to get a battery operated shaver. You may also want to get a rechargeable shaver just as long as you can keep track of its charging time. You wouldn't want your batteries dying out in the middle of a shave in the morning.

• The price. The price is always a concern when buying something that you want to last you a long time. If you are going to compare electric shavers to simple disposable razors then you will be surprised with the difference. However, you will be able to use this gadget for a long period of time most especially if you know how to take care of it.

Shaver brands like Panasonic, Braun and Phillips are one of the top few that assure you of the quality and the performance that you are getting. You can canvas for features and details about men's electric shavers on the internet before buying one. You may find a lower priced product if you buy online so explore online shops as well for your purchase.

What Are the Best Electric Razors For Men?

That's not an easy question to answer because it depends on many factors. What is the perfect electric razor for one person may be totally unsuitable for someone else and this could be due to differing skin types, having soft or hard whiskers or desiring a different closeness of shave.

However, there are two very important factors that need to be considered - features and price. Modern electric shavers have a wide variety of features, some of which may or may not be deemed necessary to everyone, depending on your expectations. Of-course, the more advanced features usually add to the cost of the razor.

Which are the best men's electric razors?

There are numerous different brands of electric razors including Panasonic, Braun, Sunbeam, Remington and Philips to name a few. After some research into the wide range of men's electric shavers available, I have found three that really stand out above the rest. They are:

* Philips Norelco Arcitec 1090;

* Braun Series 7-790cc Pulsonic Shaver and

* Panasonic ES8249K Arc IV Nano Vortex.

Let's look at some of the features of these three electric razors.

1. Philips Norelco Arcitec 1090 Men's Shaving System

If you like high tech design, then this Norelco electric razor is for you. It is one of the coolest looking shavers on the market. It is a rotary head shaver that has the ability to conform to the contours of your face to give you a very close shave. It also comes with a 60 day money back guarantee for peace of mind.

2. Braun Series 7- 790cc Pulsonic Shaver

These braun electric razors are also high tech but in a different way. It produces several thousand "micro vibrations" per minute which help to lift the hairs for easy cutting. The Braun also uses very advanced blade technology which minimises any tugging and pulling of the whiskers and also gives a very close shave. A really cool feature is that with the press of a button the shaver will automatically clean and lubricate itself.

3. Panasonic ES8249K Arc IV Nano Vortex

Unlike the other two, this Panasonic electric shaver can be used as a wet or dry shaver. You should consider this shaver if you shave in the shower, for instance. The Panasonic has a very powerful motor and with its extremely sharp blades that are set at the smallest angle of any razor available today so not only do you get a very close shave but it makes light work out of shaving a thick beard.

Naturally, these features are going to reflect in the prices of these electric razors but if price is not an issue and you want the features then any of these would be more than suitable.

Best Value Men's Electric Razor

But if price is an issue, let's find a shaver that has a low price but gives excellent value for the dollars spent. To ascertain this I went through many electric shaver reviews and found the shaver that had more positive customer reviews than any other. The one that stood out was one manufactured by Braun. It is their PocketGo P-70 Men's Electric Shaver with a current retail price of around $30.00. Strictly speaking this shaver is aimed at the traveller and may not be suitable for everyday shaving. It is powered by a couple of AA batteries so it can be used anywhere including your office and even the car. Although it doesn't have the bells and whistles of the more expensive shavers, it is extremely portable and does give quite a close shave.

Like anything, it's most important that you decide which features you need in a shaver and then look for the best value men's electric shaver that will fit that need.

Braun 360 - Complete Electric Shaver

Braun is one of the respected and well known manufacturers of foil based shavers. The company has continued to showcase their innovation through well built products with their comprehensive and after sales services. There is a wide range of foil shavers produced by Braun to suit all requirements and budgets which can go right up to the cleanest and charge up based shavers. Their series 7 shaver models have become very popular at this time as the leading technology of industry and blades developed by Gillette set this model apart from the competition. Braun also produces 5 and 3 range of models which offer less exotic features but they are based on several years of Braun electric shaver development. Regardless the type of model you choose, as you just have to make sure you find the best performance in the electric shaver.

If you are already impressed with the foil shaver line from Braun then you will surely love the technology used in the Braun 360 Complete Electric shaver. Most of the people have replaced their previous Braun shaver models for this new and improved version. The Braun 360 Complete Electric shaver pack includes the new and enhanced razor, brush for cleaning, a great hard sided carry case, the razor or shaver and a cord for power. This shaver is almost the same like their previous 8985 model but without Clean and Charge system and so you can save your money if you prefer cleaning it yourself.

The shaver is much quieter compared to the free-glider while it also charges very quickly. A particular features that people like is that shavers from Braun hold their charge for quite long as you can even go shaving almost daily for nearly a month with a slight charge. Additionally the razor blades of the shaver also do a great job of catching the hair on collar line. The razor blades also trim perfectly around your ear areas and also the nose area.

The cutter and foil blocks are also very easy to remove and clean as you can wash them after every shave, but you can clean them wit the brush when charging the shaver. The foil on Braun 360 Complete Electric shaver is significantly more delicate compared to other Braun models and even free-glider. There is no plastic protecting it throughout and the foils run completely from sides and even seem like you might have damaged them. Additionally the cutter block seems a bit different than their other shaving models and is also stout. The ring often gets broken from other shaving models but this new Gillette style Braun 360 Complete Electric shaver cutter perfectly blocks and seems more durable than others. Therefore the bottom line is that, this is an excellent improved version of other Braun models and a perfect accessory in your toiletry bag.

Three Tips to Consider Before Buying an Electric Shaver

(Tip #1) The leading factor when determining which shaver you want to use is:

Your facial hair and skin softness (or hardness)

A lot of people just don't understand that one product does NOT fit everyone; there is no one, universal shaver that all men can use. Likewise, different people have different thickness of hair and varying types of skin.

1) People with rough skin, on either their sideburns, mustache, or even chin/neck area, should not use an analog, rotary shaver. I can't stress this enough, because over time, your skin will grow harder and cut open easily, exposing it to various sorts of bacteria and facial problems (which you do not want). Instead, use a foil-shaver that glides smoothly across touch patches of skin. Switching between the two can mean the difference between rich, clear skin and disease-prone, cut up skin. You most certainly don't want the latter.

2) People with long hair, on any facial area, should also look to switch from a rotary shaver to a foil-shaver. Long hair can become an irritant if you use a regular razor, especially. The vibrating motions of an electric, foil-shaver can be useful in preventing skin aggravation, and it also provides a clean, close shave.

3) People with soft skin are open to use differing types of shavers, but they should look to use non-electric razors in lieu of electric ones. The reason being that electric shavers can damage soft skin easily, and leave permanent scars.

4) People with short hair can use practically any shaver they prefer, as long as it matches their skin type. (e.g.: Those with short hair and rough skin would be best suited using foil-shavers, while those with soft skin would use non-electric, rotary razors).

(Tip #2) What purpose will your shaver serve?

Of course we know the obvious answer is: to shave. But there are more questions that should be considered.

1) What brand do you prefer? For me, it is, and will always be, Braun. I just find that the quality of their blades are far and away, unmatched. It might be different for you, though. Some people find appeal to Panasonic shavers. Other people might have some different brand altogether. The point is, what brand would you like or prefer to use?

2) Is it worth the investment? When determining the investment value of a shaver, the shelf-life should be taken into account. You've probably heard the term when talking about mass-produced food. What I mean by shelf-life is, how long will the shaver last? Most shaver, in fact, do not last longer than 6-8 months. It is important to research things like battery life, the quality of blades, and the inner mechanisms of the device.

3) How would your shaving experience improve? This is one of the big ones. Why switch from what you use already, if it is effective enough? Should you have to buy an electric shaver just because it's the latest, newest gadget on the market? I hope not. But the answer to these questions vary from person to person. If you're already satisfied with your current razor, then my guess is you wouldn't be on this page. So, if you've decided it's a worthwhile investment, and the shave you're deciding on is well-suited for you (see Tip #1), then you should go ahead. If you feel like anything is lacking, then stop and rethinking about it. It might not be a necessary part of your bathroom medicine cabinet.

(Tip #3) What purpose will your shaver serve (close or rough shave)?

1) Do you want a close shave? If you're looking for a close shave, your current razor probably does a good job. Electric shavers normally don't do well. But, if you really want a clean, trimmed look, then I recommend the Braun 370. It is an electric shaver I personally use, and have been using for a while. For what it does, nothing else can compete with it.

2) Do you want a rough shave? The rough shave is a little bit tougher to pull off, because very few razors actually allow for it. If you want a David-Beckham-like-look, then I suggest going with the Braun 340. I've used it several times in the past when I was into that, and it really gave me a tough, mean look (Of course, I don't do it anymore).

I hope that my article has been informative, and if you need any more information/discounts on shavers, feel free to contact me.

Silk Epilator For Amazing Epilation in 5 Steps

From special tricks for each part of the body, to super smooth stubble free skin, the art of epilating has evolved dramatically. Do you know how to get the best performance from your silk epilator?

Follow these instructions and be willing to invest a lot of time initially. I say initially, because, after a couple of applications, the pain will subside and you'll be able to do it any way you want.

1. Epilating is best when your skin is soft, so it is best to have a bath or shower before and afterwards, and ensure that you are completely dry before you begin. For your first epilation, a long, hot bath is best. Also, you might find your skin is slightly red afterwards, so it is best to epilate the night before a big night out, rather than the same night.

2. Applying creams or lotions to the skin before epilating is a bad idea, it can make it difficult for the tweezers to grab on to the hairs; Silk-epil Xpressive has been developed with pre-epilation wipes which cool and soften the skin prior to epilation, reducing pain and delivering a great skin feeling.

3. Rub the skin before you begin in order to lift the shortest hairs into an "upright" position and give a better chance of them being "grabbed" by the epilator.

4. Run the epilator in an upwards motion, against the hair growth, using long quick strokes until you are comfortable. If needed you can also change the epilation direction to ensure an even smoother finish. When you get to your knee, stretch it out straight.

5. To soothe your skin and create a really sleek, smooth look and feel, you should apply a body cream after epilating.

Reduce Double Chin Without Surgery!

Fat, in any part of the body, is greatly abhorred. Just the thought of it can send shivers to one's spine. Fats to be deposited in the face are another story. Considering that the face is one of the most important parts of the body, people go the extra mile just to take care of it. The presence of fat however, is no easy feat. Unlike fats in the belly, which are highly possible to be eradicated, those in the face are somewhat resistant to exercise. To reduce double chin is one of the most common face problems that has plagued both men and women.

What is it about the chin really? If you haven't noticed it yet, the people who are perceived to be beautiful are those with well-defined chins. If the outline of your face can hardly be distinguished from the neck, then you're in a big trouble. Worse is if you cannot even see where your neck is because you developed a second chin.

The vital question is: Do you really need to have a surgery to solve the problem? Considering the very pricey rates of surgery nowadays especially if done by a well-established clinic, many are looking for an alternative. This search for other method is also caused by the fear felt by most when the term operation comes to mind. Surely, one cannot deny that there's a possibility for infection to occur. Also, why go under the knife when you can reduce double chin without so much of an effort?

The secret is out in the open. The fats that comprise the 'second' layer of chin can be lessened by a series of specialized exercises on the face. This is not too strenuous like a full body workout. For less than an hour, you can have a productive facial exercise.

The effect of such exercise benefits not just the chin but also the entire face. This includes the cheekbones and the jaw line. A nice chin will be useless of course if the other parts are not in assonance with it. Good thing that the exercises are specifically designed to eliminate the fats in the face as a whole.

For those who find a layer of fat under the chin as something not to concern with, it is perfectly fine. However, it will not hurt to evaluate the advantages that may result from a trimmed chin. Imagine putting an end to being the butt of jokes during gatherings. Think of gaining attraction from the opposite sex. Wouldn't you want these things to happen to you?

Basically, it all boils down to getting the respect that is due you. We may not want it, but some people assess others based on their appearances. And what if we fail to get an opportunity just because the employer sees that we don't look the part? To reduce double chin is not merely a caprice or a wanting; it's more of organizing one's life by seeking a higher self-esteem.

Teaching Your Teenager How to Shave

Among males, the teenage years are the times when a lot of physical changes occur. One of the most significant changes at this stage is the growth of more visible hair in the body. At this stage, too, parents may want to teach their teenagers how to shave properly, either with traditional razors or mens electric shavers.

In the teenage stage, your son or daughter would already experience growing hair in certain places. Boys, for instance, would be growing chin hairs and/or a mustache, while teenage girls would start seeing hairs on their underarms. Growing hair on the underarms is okay for the boys, but for girls it is embarassing especially when wearing sleeveless tops, so it is an issue to shave or not. In teaching your teenage sons and daughters, you, as the parent should be clear and exact.

Products to be used by your teenager should be purchased and bought beforehand like the mens electric shavers (or even conventional shavers), shaving creams, and aftershave lotions. You should let your son or daughter be the one to choose the brand that interests them or what he or she prefers to use.

Then, with all the things needed at hand, you must make sure that he or she starts with warm water. This is because warm water is said to help soften the hair, thus making shaving easier to do.

Then application of the shaving cream should be done. This helps to soften the hair and also leaves your skin feeling soft. In applying the shaving cream, you should show him or her how much of it is to be applied.

Afterwards, you should instruct and explain to your son or daughter the things he or she should remember when shaving. It is important to emphasize that she or he should take time in shaving and that he or she must make sure to use long and smooth strokes and not to apply a lot of pressure on the razor. If he or she applies too much pressure, then it is possible for him or her to obtain a cut, unless the teenage child is being taught to use an electric razor. Safety precautions should be taught to avoid getting cuts and nicks.

Also, demonstration is an important thing in this case. This is to ensure that your teenage son or daughter would learn the proper and careful way of shaving. You should be able to demonstrate to him or her how to properly grasp the razor and how the strokes are to be done.

Every once in a while you should also remind your teenager regarding the pressure to be applied while shaving. After being able to demonstrate to your teen, you should then let him or her try to hold it for himself or herself to check whether he or she has got what you taught right.

When your teenager has finished shaving, you should teach how to rinse the cream and hair off thoroughly. The shaving tools and products used such as the razor and the cream should be stored in a shaving kit. If your teenager has questions and queries you must answer them. Also, you must tell your child to let you know if the razor needs replacing or if there is no more shaving cream left for use so that replacements and purchases can be made immediately.

Coaching your teenage son and daughter on shaving is important so that they will know the right way to do it. Guiding them would also help since you are knowledgeable regarding the matter. Though, if you need a safer and easier-to-teach way, you should encourage your teen to use mens electric shavers instead of traditional razors.

Cream For Puffy Eyes - The Key to Youthful Looks

If you want to look younger fast, a cream for puffy eyes is what you need. These miracle creams firm up the skin under your eyes, as well as lift it and tone it, so fine lines and wrinkles aren't as apparent, and they also rid your eyes dark circles.

You wear the eye cream under your makeup, because it absorbs quickly into your skin. No one will ever know it's there. Just add foundation and concealer, and you're good to go, and looking 10 years younger, too.

The right remedies for puffy eyes will also prevent puffiness and remove dark eye circles, as well as moisturize the skin around your eyes. Top quality products build up collagen and elasin in your skin to keep it plump and avoid the cellular breakdown that often comes with age.

It may contain an ingredient for increasing circulation under the eyes, as well, which is great if you're trying to get a glowy, youthful look.

The eyes are where we first notice signs of aging, due to the thin, delicate nature of the skin there. Going without sunglasses and squinting for years will cause lines eventually, as will the natural destruction of collagen.

Eye creams are made to counteract this damage and create the appearance of a whole new you. Just be sure that the product you select is free of alcohol, mineral oil, or parabens, as these weigh down your skin and can actually make you look much older.

Just stick to natural facial skin care ingredients with antioxidant content and you should be fine, with healthy, youthful looking eyes that brighten your entire face.
