How to Choose an Electric Shaver

In this day and age, there are very few men who still wear a beard or a mustache as the trend is to a clean shaven look. Anyway, most women prefer clean shaven men as facial hair feels unsmooth on the touch. And most men needs a fast and quick shave in the morning, free of burns and cuts. This is not asking for a lot, but somehow, this looks like a much more difficult quest than it should be.

Electric razors are extremely popular because its use, compared to manual shaving, do not cause as much skin irritation, something that seems to always happen with shaver blades.

Brands
There are so many electric shavers to choose from, as there are several types and brands, like Braun, Philips, Panasonic or Remington. Here are some options you can look in an electric shaver.

Cordless
When comparing shavers, most men will opt for cordless ones. Cordless electric razors are much more convenient and will provide you with a smooth shave and can simply be left during the day to recharge, making sure that the shaver is always ready when you need it the most.

Self cleaning
The self clean shavers are another very popular option. These shavers are easy to use and after shaving, men do not have to spend too much cleaning their shaver. These models are perfect for men that live in the fast lane. No men want to spend their morning cleaning the mess of shaving products for old traditional shaving methods or deal with sharp blades that cut their skin and cause rashes and burns to their skin.

Do some research
One thing that one should keep in mind prior to believing what companies tell them is that the best electric razor for one men may not necessarily be the most perfect one for another men. Every men is different and so are their necessities. Therefore it is always better to read and compare reviews and several customer feedback before purchasing a shaver. Of course you can be lucky and get the best shaver without comparing feedback, but reading the reviews and features will surely help you make the right choice.

Shop online
You can shop from the comfort of your house as there are many websites that sell electric shavers which will give you a chance to see what electric razor is the more suitable to your needs and even shop for prices. Many useful website will provide you great comparisons between many types of shavers, including consumers reviews, features and prices. This will help you make a wise choice before buying your best electric razors, which we hope will give you several years of smooth shaving.

Consider A Beard Trimmer As A Gift For That Special Guy In Your Life

If you are a lady, shopping for that special fellow in your life can prove to be an arduous task. This is for no other reason than the fact that men have different needs than women do. As a woman, you know what women would want, but men have different needs. If the special guy in your life is proving hard to shop for, you can't really go wrong with a beard trimmer.

A beard trimmer is a thoughtful, inexpensive gift that most men would love. Women don't have to worry about having to trim their beards up, but some men have to worry about it multiple times a day. Facial hair grows faster on some men than others, and there are times when it is not always welcome. Job interviews, weddings, parties, long days at the office-sometimes whiskers can sneak up on a guy, and a beard trimmer can come in handy for just those situations.

Beard trimmers are also a great gift for that boy who is turning into a man. What a better way to show him that you recognize his transition into adulthood than with an item that little boy's are not able to use? Boys don't grow facial hair or need trimmers for them, but young men do.

Where to Find a Beard Trimmer for the Guy in Your Life

Luckily, beard trimmers are not too difficult to find. Really, it is just a matter of choosing the one that is best for the person you are shopping for. There are the low end beard trimmers and the high end beard trimmers. If the person you are considering is going to be putting a lot of use into the item, there is no reason in the world to skimp except your budget. Get the maximum as to what your gifting budget can afford, because when it comes to beard trimmers, you do get just what you pay for.

Finding Quality Beard Trimmers is Important

If you pay ten dollars for a beard trimmer, you cannot expect too much out of it. If you pay a bit more, more in the neighborhood of thirty to fifty dollars, you can get a battery operated beard trimmer that will last quite a while, and be in great working order whenever it is needed. Also, the cheaper beard trimmer models do not always come with a warranty, and having a warranty is important for such a device-even if it is not a very long one.

If you are shopping for the man in your life, young or old, you cannot possibly go wrong with a beard trimmer. They are inexpensive, thoughtful, and best of all they won't collect dust or be re-gifted like so many other things you may have considered. Wrap it up with a nice bow and throw in a thoughtful card, and you have the gift of a lifetime!

A Flat Screen Best Buy - Tips to Help You Choose the Perfect Screen

For sure, last year's models will be outperformed by the latest series for Plasma TVs and LCDs. The TV technology is improving incredibly fast and TV units are getting sleeker, more sophisticated, and further advanced.

The beauty of these new TV technologies is that they take less space and looks great at any home. Just recently, LCDs have made their screen size larger to compete with the Plasma TVs. And because sizes have increased, the prices increased as well. But the most common flat screen TV is still a 32 inch LCD.

So how do you know if the set you are eying on is the perfect TV for you? Here's how.

Tip 1. Identify the size you want and know if it will fit the TV area in your room. Measure the space where your TV will go. Would you like to place in on top of a cabinet or a stand or mount it on the wall? This is very important. Because for sure, when you see the biggest screen in the shop, you'll definitely want it.

Tip 2. Set and stick with your budget. Trust me, you will get carried away. So now that you know how easy it is to be tempted, set a budget and be firm with it. You wouldn't want a day ending with an extremely impressive and huge television, an empty pocket, and a regret right?

Tip 3. Remember to be patient when you shop around. You have all the time in the world. Take your time when shopping so you can be sure that what you're getting is what you truly desire. You may also want to wait for a while for discounts and bargain deals. Wait a little longer until the price drops according to your budget.

Tip 4. List down the things you need to look for. Create a checklist so you will not forget anything when you shop. List the key features that you want. You may also use the checklist in comparing different models and brands.

Tip 5. Trust your instincts. After you have set your budget, identified the size, and listed down the features you want your LCD to have, you may now trust your eyes, and your ears as well. Just go for the one that you like best. If you are using your own money, and you will use the TV personally, then you have all the power to decide which TV appeals most to you. The one with the best sound, best structure, and best picture, according to your taste, is the one that you like best.

Electric Shavers Reviews - The Best Electric Shaver

I was very hesitant to buy a new electric shaver because of its flaw for clean shaving. My perception was that there can be no electric shaver that can give a clean shave like the old disposable razor from Gillette Mach. Guess what? I was right. I have some electric shaver, the best name in the market, but they all turn out to be just the hype with the same old defect. This is also especially true to me because I am heavily bearded.

I was headstrong and writing an electric shaver reviews was the most unlikely thing to had happened. A Braun 8995 Complete 360° that I received as a gift was all it takes to change my opinion and I need to write this review to advocate for the performance and quality of the best electric shaver to date.

First of all, Braun 8995 live up to the hype and there is no flaw of a common electric shaver. Braun for the first time uses Gillette blade technology with their cutter block and foil and it does work perfectly which now captures more hair with every shave. After shaving I no longer get the sandpaper feeling on my face when I run my fingers. With other electric shaver I need to use a trimmer or disposable blade for this experience.

Braun 8995 comes with a cleaning station that clean and renew the shaver's head whenever required. After cleaning with the solution the performance of the shaver is enhanced to the like of a new one. This alcohol based solution also releases a fresh lemon scent after cleaning and contain lubricating oil for the cutter block. You need to buy the refill cartridge for this cleaning solution but its well worth it.

The cutter block and foil will last for at least 18 months before you need to replace it. Again, this will vary depending on your usage and may as well last for more than 24 months.

Apart from the cleaning station and refill cartridges what are included in the shaver's pack are the hard case, protective cap, power supply cable plug and a cleaning brush.

The price of the best electric shaver is very reasonable and justify to what it can do and the overall durability of the shaver. The best buy available online as of today is $139.99 as compared to $299.00 a few weeks ago at Amazon market place. This is one good bargain that don't come along often is all I can say about the price.

If you are looking a dependable electric shaver and beyond look no further, this is the best you can ever come across. No other electronically operated shavers come close to its performance and quality. It is indeed a must have collection for men's toy.

How Can Waxing Rid You Of Unsightly Body Hair?

Are you using waxing as a hair removal technique? If not, then you should consider it. The process of waxing is very old and one that has been used in one way or another for thousands of years (dating back to ancient Egypt even) and can work very well for you today. What is it? It is the removal of hair from the root through a process of applying a wax and then quickly removing it. And, yes, waxing does hurt a bit but it is only temporary and can give you hair free results for up to six to eight weeks. All in all, it can be well worth it.

Where To Wax?

Waxing can safely be done throughout the body. Individuals use it for their legs, eyebrows, bikini areas and much larger hairs such as their chest, stomach and back. You can have it done so that you can shave time off of your swimming competition or to help you to just look the way that you enjoy looking.

What Is It?

What's in the wax? The mixture that you will use is a combination of paraffin or beeswax and natural oils. These products are chosen since they work well with the body and stick to the skin. There are two types, cold and hot waxing. Some have supplements in them to help improve the skin's feel and texture.

Hot Waxing: In this method of waxing, a hot but comfortable temperature is used for the wax. It is spread onto the area in the direction of the hair growth. When the wax cools, it is torn off quickly in the opposite direction, pulling the hair out with it. Usually, this gives the best results in waxing.

Cold Waxing: In this method of waxing, the strips of cloth are coated with the wax and them applied to the skin. The strips are rubbed in the direction of the hair growth and then ripped off in the opposite direction.

After you wax your skin, you can use a treatment of a non perfumed moisturizer. This will help to restore the feel of the skin by adding Vitamin B and Aloe Vera to it. Whatever you do, you do not want to go swimming, use a spa or hot tub, tan, or apply perfume, deodorant or other chemicals to the area that was just waxed as these can cause infections and pain.

It is important that you carefully look at your skin prior to using any type of waxing. You should not use in areas where there are open sores, infection, moles, warts or other skin irritations. You should never attempt to wax eyelashes, ear hair, nose hair or nipple hair. And, you should make sure that you use the appropriate combination of wax for specific areas such as pubic hair. Make sure to test the temperature of the wax so that you do not get burned too.

Waxing has been around for centuries because it is an effective way to remove hair. There are not normally side effects besides a little bit of pain and redness. And, you can do it at home or in a salon. Waxing is an effective method to remove unwanted hair from virtually every area of your body.

Is Aftershave Needed When Using Electric Razors?

Generally, men use aftershave lotions or creams after shaving their facial hair. Aftershave contains moisturizers that smoothen and soften your face. But, when using mens electric shavers, do you really need to apply aftershave?

Mens electric shavers have been manufactured and sold around the world for quite some time. Both men and women have even moved on from traditional razor blades to electric shavers in removing unwanted facial hair. One of the most important benefits you can get from using an electric razor when shaving is that you get a clean shave without the necessity of using aftershave.

Electric razors are one of the most convenient shaving tools. Though, for those who are always busy or in a hurry, some people do not have the luxury of time to use electric razors, much less the traditional razors which require more shaving time than is comfortable for a busy bee.

By using an electric shave, you don't really have any need for shaving creams or foams on your face. As a matter of fact, the only thing you need is electricity---plus your electric razor, of course. Applying or lathering your face with an aftershave is an option when you are using an electric razor.

However, using aftershave or pre-shave can benefit you as well. Pre-shave lotions or pre-shave creams can harden your facial hair and make them stand, providing ease when you remove them through electric razors. Consequently, you need to choose a pre-shave that is suited well for electric razors.

Aftershave, on the other hand, can help in closing and tightening your pores after shaving. Also, it helps moisturize your skin. However, if you have a sensitive skin, you ought to avoid using aftershave or other alcohol-based aftershaves. As an alternative, you can use a relaxing aftershave balm---or make one of your own from organic and all-natural ingredients.

In addition, using aftershave can damage your skin specifically if it is sensitive and it has cuts and wounds. Aftershaves are used primarily for desensitizing your skin after shaving. It is much recommended that you wash your face. Also, if your face has small cuts or wounds, you should not use aftershave. It might penetrate into your inner skin, causing irritation.

Applying aftershave on your face after using mens electric shavers is really just your choice. If you want to make your face look softer then you can use aftershave, but really, it's not a requirement.

Understanding Laser Hair Removal

If you have heard about laser hair removal, then you are likely to be one of the many that believe it is an easy way to get rid of unwanted hair. Although many people do find great success with the treatments, others will need several to succeed. And, there is no real way to know how you will react to the laser treatment until you have it.

Who Should Have It?

The ideal candidate for laser hair removal is the person who has dark colored hair. The darker the hair the more likely it is that the laser can remove it permanently. With that goes the pigment color of the skin. Individuals who have a dark complexion will not be ideal candidates because the hair is harder to see. Light skin, dark hair is the best situation to find yourself in.

You will also need to have a good budget. Sessions of laser hair removal can last upwards of several hours and will require several thousand dollars to complete. If you need multiple treatments, that too can become even more costly. The average is four visits per person.

Melanin is the pigment that gives hair color. You will need the melanin to be able to absorb the energy from the laser and then incorporate the heat into the follicle. The heat will actually kill off the follicle, making it impossible for hair to re-grow. Also, those who have a dark colored skin tone have more melanin, it is necessary to insure that the process will still work well. To help this, a cold compress will be used to keep the affected area cool. The laser will not target the cold areas which are important for it to work properly.

The skin can be kept cool in another way as well. This is multi pulsing laser technology. Laser energy is pulsed or interrupted, rather than streamed. That means there is less heat which helps to cool and at the same time, protect the skin. Other laser removal devices include: Alexandrite, a long pulse laser; Diode, which generally is used on darker skin; Q-Switched Nd:YAG, which delivers two wavelengths that work on both deep and near-surface follicles; and Ruby, that as the name implies, consists of red laser beams capable of targeting melanin.

There are a number of excellent resources on the internet that will help you to discover why or why not laser hair removal is the right solution for you.

How to Choose a Men's Shaver

Electric shavers can cost a lot of money to buy and maintain. The average cost is $60 and the best shavers cost between $150 and $170. Heads will need to be changed every six months to two years, at a cost between 25 to $45. In addition, the battery will have to be changed, which adds an additional cost. The rechargeable batteries can cost more than the shaver.

Most people who shave with a blade will not switch to an electric razor because of the shave (not as close), and the numerous costs associated with an electric shaver. Surveys are conducted on the closeness of a blade and an electric razor, and the blade wins almost every time.

Electric shavers do have advantages that may compensate for its weaknesses. If you do not like pain and bleeding associated with cuts, the electric razor gives you an advantage by keeping the blades from your skin. Individuals with blood conditions would, especially, be interested in an electric razor over a blade. Also, shavers provide portability. You can use them anywhere, which is great for traveling.

If you're a first timer, give yourself at least 3 weeks or so to get accustomed to it, since it can take that a while to learn the right method. Almost all razors come with a 30- or 60-day money-back guarantee, so you can return it.

Two shavers with a good value are the Braun FreeControl and the Remington Microflex 600.

The Braun FreeControl is a great shave. It can be used corded or cordless, and it has a quick-charge option that allows for a shave that needs to be done quickly. It recharges in just one hour. A down side to the shaver is that it can't be left plugged in without damaging the battery.

The Remington Microflex 600 shaves well. It's quiet, can be left plugged in. In addition, it has a recharge warning light as well as a battery that lasts a long time between charges, except it takes 12 hours to fully recharge and cannot be used with a cord or overseas without a transformer.

My preference is to shave with a blade, rather than with an electric razor. A blade is cheaper, and it gives you a closer shave. But if you do not want to take the risk of injury, and cost is not a consideration then you should go with an electric shaver. Also, an electric shaver is good for shaving if you travel a lot, and you need to shave on the go at any location.

Fast Cars And The Weight Issue

Weight is one of the most important issues to consider when building a fast car for road or track.
Putting a car on a serious diet is pretty much free horsepower, as any attempt to lighten a car improves the power to weight ratio, this seriously improves acceleration.

The gains on a lightening a car are huge and not just limited to gains in acceleration either. Once you have lightened a fast car you will find the car performs better in the corners and under braking, parts such as brakes and tires will last longer on the car also.

The potential gains are huge but it must be done correctly, you would not want to lighten a rear wheel drive car too much on the rear or you may find traction a problem particularly with a high power output.

The truth is your fast car could be made a great deal faster cheaply and easily just by shaving a few pounds off the body.

How do we remove weight from the fast car?

This bit is as easy as you want it to be, but as with most forms of car modification it depends on how far you want to go. I know a guy who races a BMW and he decided to go all out on weight saving, he even scraped every bit of under-seal from the floors of the car, extreme perhaps but he managed to remove nearly 2 stone of under-seal, not a bad effort.

The obvious place to start saving weight on your fast car is by removing the interior, and anything else that you do not need, the front seats can be replaced with light weight racing items, the unused wiring removed, carpets and sound deadening, pretty much all of the unnecessary parts, my car has just a driver seat and a cage with much of the unnecessary wiring removed. This makes for a car with very impressive performance.

Many other components can be replaced with lighter parts, gear box casings, axle covers etc. It is worth noting that a stainless steel exhaust is lighter than the same in mild steel, so this constitutes a worthwhile investment.

It is also important to reduce the unsprung weight on the car also, by this I mean wheels, brakes and anything else before the suspension mounts, this provides a very good increase in the handling of the car.

Body Hair Removal Techniques: What Options Are There?

Is there a way to remove body hair from the entire body? Today, many people are looking at ways to effectively remove the hair that is growing from every part of the body, from the face and neck all the way down to the toes. Is it safe to do this? Yes, in most cases, body hair can be removed without any problems what so ever. And, it can be quite successful as well. While you may need to call in a professional to help you, chances are there is a way to get rid of the hair on your body.

A Costly, But Good Option

One of the most effective ways of removing hair from the body in a permanent fashion is through laser hair removal. This can be done rather easily, actually. If you can afford to have it done, you should. It is able to remove hair faster than, say electrolysis because it can deal with several hair folicles at once, rather than each individually. Laser hair removal is an effective treatment that will work for most areas of the body including the arms and legs, the chest and the back.

But, it will cost you. Laser hair removal, as effective as it is, costs several thousands of dollars. And, it will take several treatments before the entire area will be completed. In some cases, hairs will re-grow and will need additional attention.

Less Permanent, Less Costly

Another method of hair removal is through waxing. Yes, it is less expensive, but it is also not permanent. And, it can hurt a bit too. To work, a layer of wax is placed onto the skin where the hair to be removed is located. Then, when the wax hardens just enough, it is quickly pulled away. The hair is removed, down to the root. You can do this at home, but it can be faster, more effective as well as offer better results when done professionally. The hair will re-grow, but it will take several weeks for it to do so. Waxing can be painful, but usually only for a few seconds and it is quite effective at removing hair from the follicle.

So, which is the best option for you? If you can afford to go with a laser treatment, it will work better for you in the long run. If you can handle a few painful seconds and a lower cost, waxing is a great hair removal method.

There are many online resources that can help you with information about hair removal.

Noise Cancelling Headphones

Because of the rise in popularity of MP3 players, there is an increase in demand for noise cancelling headphones. Many of us are commuting long distances and enjoy the peace of silence. People are looking for a little peace and quiet while listening to their favorite artist.

Most headphones are excellent for listening to music, when you are in a quiet location to start with. The enjoyment diminishes when the background noise from the outside world starts encroaching in which generally happens when you are outside at a noisy location or at the gym. It is virtually impossible to stop all the surrounding noise and this is where having a pair of folding noise canceling stereo headphones is a must.

Active noise cancellation is what allows these type of headphones to operate properly. Unwanted noise is picked up from your surroundings and reversed. The end results are both the sounds canceling each other out producing little to no sound. As the frequency of noise increases, the effectiveness of the noise cancellation reduces. However, you will find that most headsets use active noise canceling system as well as passive noise canceling system like pads and ears cups which end up giving a very effective noise controlling audio listening device.

Keep in mind that not all headphones are created equal. Some can produce noise of their own, which sounds like a hiss that can be heard when there is no audio output or when light music is played.

There's many different models, and brands ranging in types of variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Bose models are considered to be one the best as the company is one of the first to produce noise cancelling headphones.

Time to Replace Your Old Electric Shaver

Do you still have your first electric shaver? Believe it or not I still do and I've had it for over 25 years!

Amazingly it still works. But I'll have to admit I only use it no more than once a week and haven't cleaned it for the longest time. It still gives a pretty good shave when I do use it.

However, I started to notice newer electric razors with nice features my old Norelco shaver doesn't have.

For example, there's a shaver with a vibrating head that's suppose to condition the skin to lift the hair for its blades to reach them. My older shaver doesn't seem to have this feature.

Then that same shaver is self-cleaning, a really practical feature for someone like me who never or rarely cleans up after themselves. When I did clean my old shaver, I had to soak my rotary blades into a cup filled with solution and when that supply ran out I stopped cleaning.

New shavers have rotating heads the flex and glide over the contours of your neck and face. Some are ergonomically shaped for what appears to be a comfortable grip. My older shaver didn't have any of those futuristic design features.

There are electric shavers that are small, compact, light weight, cordless and rechargeable. Everything I've describe about the newer electric shavers is making it seem like it's time for me to replace my older shaver not because it's not working anymore, but because it would be nice to take advantage of these features.

Wouldn't you admit the features available on today's modern shavers are good reasons to replace your older shaver too?

Understanding Hair Growth To Lose Unwanted Hair

Hair growth is one of the most amazing aspects of the human body. And, although you have thousands of hairs all over your body, you probably think nothing of it. Did you know that once a fetus is about 22 weeks old he has developed five million follicles all over his body? And, that is all he will ever have too. Now, what else can we learn about the biology of hair?

What's It Made Of?

The anatomy of a strand of hair is amazing. First, there is the follicle which is actually embedded into the skin. The hairs grow from the follicle through a shaft. The papilla lies at the base of the follicle as one of the many layers of the follicle. Next, capillaries help to connect the papilla to the blood supply. These surround the bottom of the hair called the bulb.

There are two sheaths that are in place to protect the hair shaft from being damaged surrounding the follicle. In one of them, runs next to the hair shaft and stops at the sebaceous gland. The other, the outer sheath, runs from the glad and stops at the erector pili muscle.

Keratin is dead protein cells that are what make up the hair shaft. The inside layer of them is the medulla. The second is the cortex and it provides the most hair shaft. Hair color is determined in this layer. The cuticle is the outside most layer and it has a series of overlapping cells. The luster of the hair comes from this layer.

How Growth Happens

Hair growth happens in three main stages. Did you know that your hair will only grow .3 to .4 millimeters per day? That is only six inches per year! Although it seems like it grows much more it really does not.

The Stages:

Catagen Phase: This is the transition phase. It lasts about two to three weeks. There is no hair growth now, as the goal is for the outer portion of the hair root sheath to shrink and then attach itself to the root.

Telogen Phase: The resting period. About 15% of your hair is in this stage at any given time. It takes about 100 days for the scalp hair and much longer for the body hair to go through this stage.

Anagen Phase: Hair cells are dividing and new hair growth is happening. It can last for as long as two to six years! Do you have trouble growing your hair long? This happens because your hair in this stage does not last nearly this long.

What Can Go Wrong?

There are several hair abnormalities that can happen. These hair disorders can strike just about anyone, but are in most cases rare. One, hirsutism is when individuals, mostly women, have excessive hair growth that is in odd places. For most women, the hair is darker and coarser than it should be. It can occur on the face, chest or the areola.

Another condition known as hypertrichosis is very rare and happens when individuals suffer from hair that grows thickly in areas of the body that it normally would not.

These conditions can be treated fairly well if help is sought out. Hair growth, while a very common and seemingly ordinary thing, actually is much more complex than people imagine. But, understanding how it works can help you to understand how to rid your body of unwanted hair.

Epilators - Do They Hurt?

I suppose we have all heard the horror stories about using an epilator. Can they really be that bad? Were epilators made by men to torture us women?

Hello my name is Sue and I have been using epilators for quite some time. It was probably ten or twelve years ago when I brought my first epilator. Back then, epilators worked by removing your hair with a couple of flexible springs. As these springs were flexed in and out, they grabbed your hair between the coils, and pulled it out. Were they painful? Yes, very. I am surprised my next door neighbours did not call the police thinking someone was being murdered. That first epilator was put into a bottom draw, and never saw daylight again...

Like I said that was many years ago, and thankfully, epilators have come on a long way since then. The way they remove your hair has also changed, long gone are those dreadful springs. Epilators now work by removing you hair using spinning discs or tweezers that are far gentler on your skin.

You can now buy epilators that work under water. These are great to use in the bath or shower. The hot water helps you to relax, and, open up your pores helping the epilator remove your hairs much more easily.
Some epilators come with ice packs, or, special creams, which help to reduce any discomfort you may feel whilst using them. Others come with special heads or attachments to help you reach those fiddly little places. It is also a good idea to pull your skin tight when removing your unwanted body hair.

O.K, I know what you are saying, all this innovation is great but has it helped reduce the pain? Well my answer is no. Sorry, just kidding. From my personal point of view, and, looking back to my original experience, I would have to say yes, it has. I would be lying if I said there was no pain involved at all, but, it is a great deal less than using one of those older epilators. Read what other women say, time and time again, you will see the same words appear: the more you use it the less pain you feel.

I am sure you have seen the same thing crop up again and again, in all epilator reviews; "The more you use it, the less discomfort you will feel."

I really do believe this is true.

All You Want to Know About Beard and Mustache Trimmers

Growing beard or mustache and maintaining it is always a difficult task. You will always have to groom your beard at regular intervals, which is a tough task. On the other hand shaving off your beard is much much easier than trimming it. Moreover for some of them trimming is much better in terms of comfort than shaving. I always had that itching sensation after shave and always opted trimming. For your trimming needs a handy trimmer which is of very good quality is required.

I personally have tried out with variety of trimmers like corded trimmers, cordless and vacuum based one's. If you opt for cordless trimmers they tend to be more costlier than the corded one's. But however cordless trimmers have it's own advantages. They are very much handy and can be used as per your convenience. When you opt for a trimmer choose a one with which you can control your trimming lengths. Also always go for those which comes with stainless steel blades. Stainless steel blades usually gives better result than the other ordinary blades and causes less irritation.

From my personal experience I would say always opt purchase trimmers from top brands like Philips Norelco, Wahl Groomsman, oster Teqie, Braun and so on. So finally when you are planning to purchase a trimmer always look for the brand and check whether the trimmer will withstand for longer period of time with less maintenance. If you are looking for cheap and reliable trimmer which requires less care then my personal preference would be Remington MB-200 Trimmer or Norelco beard trimmers.

Sony is the world leader in consumer electronics. The company has been in the field since long, and has been rolling out beautiful home appliances. Their TVs, Music Systems, Laptops, Handy Cams, Digital and Conventional Cameras, etc have all were very well appreciated and received by the consumers. BRAVIA is a LCD HDTV brand of Sony. Here we shall see the all new BRAVIA - Sony KDL32W5500.

HDTVs are High Definition Televisions. They have a very solid picture quality and are known to provide high resolution images. BRAVIA is Sony's flagship LCD HDTV brand. These are known to give great colour quality and excellent image quality. They are equipped with the latest technologies to stream with many appliances that a dlna TV can support. This is a sibling of the Sony BRAVIA 32E550 which is actually double the cost of the Sony BRAVIA KDL32W5500.

This TV has the default black bezel blueprint found in almost all the brands of Sony. This is not as good looking as the 32E5500 but is a classy looking model. It features about four HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) ports. This is really nice. This also USB and Ethernet connectivity so that any dlna enabled PC can support the TV. This also provides access to Sony's Applicast online service that has content that can be viewed on the television.

This latest BE-3 or BRAVIA Engine 3 present in bravia television helps to deliver high quality viewing experience. It also is equipped with the revolutionary MotionFlow 100 Hz technology that doubles the PAL refresh rate. The menus on the screen are neatly designed and offer a whole lot of features that are truly user-friendly.

The colour quality is very perfect akin to all the other Sony products. The Sony KDL32W5500 has very beautiful night colours. This is seen when you watch the darkest of films. The quality is just awesome. The LCDs these days have really good black levels in their display, but Sony is definitely above all.

Not only black levels, this LCD TV is excellent in showing rich and highly saturated and high colour balance levels also is very perfect. The latest highly colour-rich movies like Wall-E are all a treat to watch on this new television set. The motion blur technology is also up to the mark. With the revolutionary MotionFlow technology the high action pictures are played easily without much blur effect.

The BE 3 has been exceptional in handling the HD stuff. The HD seems like real. The BRAVIA Engine really needs a salute. The only few drawbacks are that the viewing angle of the screen is a bit less. It means many people can't see the TV at a time clearly. Another problem is the audio output. It is not as strong as the rest of the competitors.

Just keeping the negative effects aside this TV is good bargain for money. It is really a nice piece to own for the HD experience BRAVIA offers. Though many competitors exist Sony truly shows the door to all of them with this KDL32W5500. I give it 8.5 / 10.

The Braun 360 has received rave reviews of late.

Braun razors are known for how quiet they operate, and how they produce a clean and quick shave. One thing that customers really like about Braun razors is their ability to hold a charge for quite some time. Reports from markets tests show that many people can shave daily for nearly a month without having to recharge the unit. Also nice is the ability of the shaver to give you a close trim with hairs that are on your collar line. These areas show the true metal of any electric razor, and Braun razors perform beautifully in this area. They will run smooth from side to side, up and down, or across your beard without giving you burns. You will find the cutting discs to be very robust and durable, able to last you years of shaving without needing replacement. You will find that any model of the Braun razors you choose to buy will be a worthy addition to your toiletry bag.

What You Should Know When Choosing Digital Video Camcorders

Owning one of the many digital video camcorders offers a person the luxury of being high tech without even trying. These are great devices that can help a person store their memories because they are lightweight and fairly simple to use. Before a person purchases a video recorder of the digital type, they should understand all of their options and know how to go about choosing the best one to fit their needs.

Digital video camcorders come in a variety of styles for each consumer. Individuals can choose to have digital recorders that record on tape, DVD, or to the hard drive that is located inside the camcorder. The digital camcorder that is most popular and most reasonably priced is the one that uses the Mini DV tape.

These run for approximately three hundred dollars and are the easiest to operate for those who are not interested in editing or dealing with an array of functions. However, the other types are great to own and eventually, just as with Beta tapes, the world of camcorders will no longer operate using tapes.

When people are considering a digital recorder over an analog type, the main advantage is that the digital camcorders allow for hooking up to a computer to store, transfer and even edit film. Compared to analog camcorders, the digital camcorder does not lose quality of picture or sound when transferring data.

However, if a person is going from digital to VHS tape, then some quality loss should be expected, but it will be very minimal. Since the world of today is so computer focused, individuals should definitely consider purchasing a digital camcorder over the analog ones. The long term results will far outweigh the short term gain.

Digital video camcorders can offer the consumer so much more than their predecessors ever thought of doing. A person can transfer a video to someone who is living four thousand miles away with just a click of a button.

This allows for long distance families to stay close no matter how many miles separates them. A person must do their homework if they are going to get the most for their money when comes to owing a digital camcorder.

Braun Series 7 790cc Shaver - Technologically Advanced For a Cleaner Shave

Before I began to use the Braun series 7 790cc shaver, I searched for a shaver that can cut my beard effectively. I wanted a shaver that can get really close to the skin so as to cut even the smallest hairs on my face. After the long quest, I ran in to the Braun series 7 790cc shaver and this product has been getting a lot of buzz.

So what makes it so different? Well, as it turns out, the Braun Series 7 790cc Shaver gives its user the quality your will expect from a company like Braun and the comfort of a 7 series razor. Everyone who have used this razor were blown away by how smooth it is. This Shaver has Gillette blade technology and this is the reason it gives you a fast and close shave. This shaver has the ability to slice the hair extremely close to the skin. The reason it is so fast is because this is achieved with one stroke of the Gillette blade. There is no need for double takes when cutting back your re-growth. Even better, now you will not have to shave as often since your hair will not grow back as quick.

The Braun Series 7 790cc Shaver delivered an exceptional result, giving me a smooth clean look. Many other features like an easy to grip handle, the clean and renew technology, pivoting flexible head and many more makes this shave come on top above the rest. But of course, this is what you will expect from a company that has been the leader in the industry.

When using the Braun Series 7 790cc Shaver, there is no discomfort of any kind. It is simply a very nice dry shave and can easily fit anywhere for easy transport. This shaver does live up to its promise.

Hair Removal Options: Thermolysis, Electrolysis Or Blend?

You would like to have permanent hair removal. Who wouldn't? But, there are several methods that you can go about getting it, for the most part. While no method can guarantee 100% effectiveness, most of them can do a good deal to help you. When it comes to choosing, you'll need to examine your budget, your need for pain as well as your research facts. Here are some of your options specifically electrolysis, thermolysis or a blend.

Electrolysis

In this permanent hair removal technique, the hair is removed directly from the hair follicle. And, in this method, the follicle is destroyed so that the hair can not re-grow. A probe is used and inserted in each and every follicle. The probe uses electrical current to cause a chemical reaction which will then loosen the hair so it can be removed. In fact, it causes a chemical reaction that will change the follicle to lye, a product that will damage it enough to cause permanent hair removal. But, the process takes quite a bit of time since each follicle has to be dealt with individually. This makes it very expensive too. In some cases, you'll need more than one treatment.

Option Two: Thermolysis

Here, you get the same basic steps but the difference is heat. The process creates heat which will then destroy the follicle. This of course stops the growth of hair. But, if this procedure is done wrong, you can experience more than just the pain you'll get from either of these treatments, but also scarring and burning. Although it is faster, thermolysis is not as effective.

Combine Them: The Blend

Growing in popularity is the blend method of hair removal. Here, the hair is removed through a quick version of electrolysis. Heat is used, though, which means that while the lye is produced and destroys the follicle, the heat makes it happen faster. And, what makes it even more attractive is the fact that it basically works on all types of hair. The blend method is faster, but still costly and painful.

Which To Choose?

It is up to you which method you use for your permanent hair removal. Make sure to visit a skilled professional to do it so that you get a sterilized location with an individual who knows what they are doing as this can make all of the difference. You lower your risks and get a better result when you go with experience.

Polk Audio I - Sonic Entertainment System 2 (iPod Dock and HD Radio)

The new Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 is a follow up from its highly acclaimed predecessor. It is essentially a sound system for you iPod and a HD radio tuner. This new model features a new improved design and great advancements in audio quality.

I am an owner of several high-end sound systems from Bose and several other brands. The sound produced by the Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 is as good as (if not better) many larger and more expensive sound systems. It packs quite a punch for a single unit sound system. Its four-speaker, 360-degree stereo system easily fills the room with rich bass and crisp sounds.

The Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 sports a new sleek design. It has a semi-circle shape and has a black exterior casing (with light gray speakers on the front). There is also a LCD display on the front of the unit with several control buttons below it. The subtle design and color palate will easily blend into the interior design of your room. The iPod dock is on the top of the unit under a sliding door.

The HD radio tuner on the Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 works very well. The audio from the FM stations sounds like songs playing from a CD. It also incorporates Apple's song tagging feature where you can 'tag' a song that is playing on the radio. When your iPod is docked, it transfers the information of the tagged songs onto your iPod, making it easy for you to purchase it over iTunes. With your iPod docked, you can also play the movies on your iPod by plugging the Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 to your computer or television.
