Polk Audio I - Sonic Entertainment System 2 (iPod Dock and HD Radio)

The new Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 is a follow up from its highly acclaimed predecessor. It is essentially a sound system for you iPod and a HD radio tuner. This new model features a new improved design and great advancements in audio quality.

I am an owner of several high-end sound systems from Bose and several other brands. The sound produced by the Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 is as good as (if not better) many larger and more expensive sound systems. It packs quite a punch for a single unit sound system. Its four-speaker, 360-degree stereo system easily fills the room with rich bass and crisp sounds.

The Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 sports a new sleek design. It has a semi-circle shape and has a black exterior casing (with light gray speakers on the front). There is also a LCD display on the front of the unit with several control buttons below it. The subtle design and color palate will easily blend into the interior design of your room. The iPod dock is on the top of the unit under a sliding door.

The HD radio tuner on the Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 works very well. The audio from the FM stations sounds like songs playing from a CD. It also incorporates Apple's song tagging feature where you can 'tag' a song that is playing on the radio. When your iPod is docked, it transfers the information of the tagged songs onto your iPod, making it easy for you to purchase it over iTunes. With your iPod docked, you can also play the movies on your iPod by plugging the Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 to your computer or television.
