How to Clean Braun Electric Shavers

So, you've bought yourself a new Braun electric shaver - you know, the brand with the Big A in the middle of the name - or maybe you've just been given one; and you're wondering how you clean it. Well, if you have a model with the Clean & Renew cleaning system, you merely push a button and it not only cleans and dries your shaver but recharges it automatically. That's pretty neat!

If you don't have one of those Braun electric shavers, don't despair. Almost every one of them can be rinsed quickly under running hot water, or even with a little liquid soap to improve the cleaning effect.

Incidentally, you should also drip a drop of oil on the cutter block every now and then.

When you remove the cutter head, it's easy to clean that block with the brush and then you should turn on the electric shaver for a few seconds. Braun says to never use the brush to clean the cutter foil.

Then, there's the cleaning spray. The spray helps clean Braun electric shavers thoroughly, taking away sebum. After spraying both cutter parts, the soaked residues are easy to remove.

One and a half years later, your Braun electric shaver has shaved as many hairs as there are blades of grass on a soccer field! So, it's probably a good time to replace the cutter parts to get back to brand-new performance! The cutter foil and block operate like the separate parts of a pair of scissors, so they inevitably wear out after so much high performance.
